The Accommodation

Liberton Tower has been painstakingly restored to a high modern standard whilst still achieving an ancient rustic feel of a 15th-century castle.  Comprising of 2 floors and a cellar.

The vaulted ground floor contains the kitchen and bathroom, on the first floor is the ’The Great Hall’ - living/dining-room with oak beams, refectory table, tapestry wall hangings, open fire, underfloor heating and rugs on stone slab floor.  while the upper floor has the two bedrooms with adjoining door, one with a double four-poster bed and the other bedroom contains 2 box beds, one additional pull-out, fully sprung, (suitable for child only) if required.  Each of the rooms may be accessed by very steep staircases (one spiral) to the second floor.

In addition to the rooms, there is the parapet walkway, access to which is gained through the box bedroom.  From the parapet, splendid views of Edinburgh are to be seen as well as Aurthurs Seat and the Salsbury Crags.
